Two years back while I was walking to my college my knee got sore. It didn’t seem to bother me at first, but slowly it became more severe. I told my mother about it and asked her to take me to the doctor, but instead, she gave me some seeds to eat. And believe me, the pain started to fade away in just an hour, those seeds were magical, for sure.
In today’s world, where we are going nuts for beauty and fitness, it has become the norm to spend our hard-earned money on high-priced products whereas we don’t know that something simple in our kitchens can do wonders.
That simple, and powerful superfood is Flaxseeds, also called Linseeds. Flaxseeds are rich in protein, fiber, omega-3 ALA (an essential fatty acid), mucilage, phytoestrogens, anti-cancer lignan, and micronutrients, such as vitamin B1 and manganese.

Adding seeds to a variety of dishes can make them healthier. Flaxseeds can be used in salads, roti, paratha, raitas, smoothies, pancakes, tea, and whatnot. Flaxseeds should be a chief food in your diet, and I’ll tell you why.
