Many of us want to lose weight, but the movement is a burden for us and the result is a lot of fatigue. And this is very common when you are tired after hard training and a lot of exercises. This happens because your muscles lose enough energy and you feel tired, and in the process, your central nervous system also loses control over your muscles and stops moving them.

So during this mechanism, you emerged as a tired being and if you’re not internally motivated for this you will not do such exercise daily.

“Exercise creates oxidative stress,” says Dr. Li while explaining the fact that it can also damage your tissue and cellular level. If you push yourself too hard, you are likely to seriously injure yourself.

So to resolve this hurdle many of the researchers carried out their research work with the mission of giving a simple and easy solution for losing weight. And finally, someone in this habitat gave the easiest way to burn calories and live a happy life daily without having the headache of losing weight.

Here is an easy way to lose weight without any exercise

London University Of Westminster researched this topic and concluded that watching horror movies can help you burn 150 calories. And that corresponds to almost 30 minutes of walking.

We all have dealt with the situation when we decided to curl up on the couch or grab a pillow while watching a terrifyingly scary or hair-raising scene. But this research suggests that those looking to burn some calories should perhaps leave their eye receptors on the screen.

In the study, researchers quantified participants’ heart rates, oxygen intake, and carbon dioxide output before, during, and after they optically processed a terrifyingly scary film. They found that calories burned increased by at least a third while participants watched movies like The Shining, Jaws, and Paranormal Activity.

“Each of the following films tested accelerated pulses that produced an increase in heart rate in the case studies,” said Richard Mackenzie, the author of the study.

Below are the best horror movies to burn calories:

  • The Shining: 184 calories
  • Jaws: 161 calories
  • The Exorcist: 158 calories
  • Alien: 152 calories
  • Sawdust: 133 calories
  • Paranormal Activity: 111 calories
  • The Blair Witch Project: 105 calories
  • Texas Chainsaw Massacre: 107 calories
  • [Rec]: 101 calories

Some studies also suggest that watching horror movies may scare you, but it can reduce the level of anxiety and stress in you.

“[Horror] can teach us how to better manage the stress of the authentic world,” Oaklee said when we’re watching horror movies, we ironically expose ourselves to anxiety-inducing stimuli. We usually don’t engage in the same unhealthy coping Mechanisms we use in real life. So next time you want to lose weight you don’t have to do such terrifying exercises. You just have to set yourself up to watch the scariest movies.
