Bollywood actor and director Satish Kaushik passed away in Delhi in the early hours of Thursday.
Kaushik, 66, is survived by his wife and daughter.
The news of Kaushik’s death shocked the Hindi film industry, with many condoling his shocking demise. He was in Delhi when he suffered a heart attack while traveling in a car. His body will be brought to Mumbai on Thursday.

Kaushik is known for his roles like Calendar in Mr India.
The news of Kaushik’s death was confirmed by his friend and National Award-winning actor Anupam Kher in a tweet.
Satish Kaushik started his carinwith theatre and went on to act in Hindi cinema. He also directed a number of films.
Kaushik was born on April 13, 1956. He graduated from Kirori Mal College in Delhi University and went on to study at the National School of Drama.
He acted in several iconic Hindi films, including Ram Lakhan, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro and Mr India. He also directed films, such as Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Prem, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain and Tere Naam.
